IBA international Bodyboarding association Best of Pipe 2012

UK Bodyboard film maker Chris Levi in association with Section Bodyboarding online have produced this great little film from the highlights of the IBA bodyboard contect at Pipeline, Hawaii.

Big ups to the IBA for the footage, Pit surf shop, Prone bodyboarding clothing and ARS clothing for also being part of the new project.

Seems that Chad Waldron has been delving deep into his bodyboarding roots and creating some interesting little semi traditional rides in the form of an Alaia. Jarrod Gibson, top shaper and owner of QCD bodyboards gets to have a go.

If you fancy something a bit diferent then give it a go. You will be amazed at the speed you can get, even on a wooden bellyboard with the right flex!

Check this great bodyboarding podcast. These guys are ripping but there again it is no surprise really. Take a look at the waves they have on their doorsteps. North swells, south swells, east and west swells they have them all. These pacific islands get hammered by swell, year round. The bodyboarders that inhabit these tropical islands are going from strength to strength too.
