SOME GREAT RESULTS FOR THE BODYBOARD HQ TEAM.
Well it’s been a tough day and an even tougher tour this year with very mixed conditions throughout this years contest schedule. Todays surf was hard work to say the least although everyone rose to the occasion. We were particularly impressed with both the under 14′s and the drop knee this year. Being a DKer myself, I know how hard it is to do anything out there when the surf is so blown out. Everyone did so well.
We were stoked to be the headline sponsor of the British Nationals this year and super keen to support it in 2012.
The BBHQ boys got some good results, even though half the team are away on surf trips. Eldred Hawke is pulling into some Guinness style kegs in Ireland. Danny Catten has done the Euro hop to Portugal and Tim Brown is getting some long rights and trying to stop his girlfiend trading her blond boyfriend for camels!
Congratulations to all who took part and especially our riders who did us proud here at Bodyboard HQ.
Steve Hall took the Under 18′s and has retained his status as British champ.
Alex Winkworth is now the British drop knee champion.
Alex was also ranked third overall in the British open mens tour.
Finally, massive congratulations to Portreath’s own, James Trevena who is now the British under 14s champion. We have been keeping a close eye on James get this summer, welcome to the team!!!!
We’ll be posting up a full list of the results as soon as we get them.
Thanks to all those who support Bodyboard HQ which in turn help us to support events like todays contest. Cheers
Dave
